Rönesans Ranks Among the Top 50 on ENR’s ‘Top 250 International Contractors’ List

02 February 2026
Rönesans Holding ranks 50th on ENR’s Top 250 International Contractors list, reinforcing its global leadership in construction, and sustainable growth.
Rönesans Holding ranked 50th this year on the ‘Top 250 International Contractors’ list published by Engineering News-Record (ENR), one of the most respected international references in the construction sector. With this achievement, Rönesans once again demonstrated its strength in the global construction industry.

Founded in 1993, Rönesans Holding operates as a global investment group with a focus on sustainable development, maintaining strong international partnerships across 40 countries in Europe, Central Asia, and Africa, with a primary presence in Türkiye and the Netherlands. Operating across five business lines, including construction, real estate, healthcare, energy, and industrial investments, Rönesans Holding has ranked among the world’s top 50 and Europe’s top 10 international contractors since 2015 on the ‘Top International Contractors’ list published by Engineering News-Record (ENR).

This ranking, based on international contracting revenues, clearly reflects Rönesans’ strong position in global markets through the large-scale and high-quality projects it delivers worldwide.

With its engineering expertise, financial strength, sustainability-focused approach, and high-quality standards, Rönesans continues to grow steadily in the global contracting sector while successfully representing Türkiye’s engineering and contracting industry on the international stage.

Generating more than half of its turnover from overseas operations, Rönesans continues to reinvest what it earns abroad back into Türkiye. To date, Rönesans Holding has invested USD 10 billion in Türkiye and aims to increase this figure to USD 14 billion within the next three years.

Setting New Standards and Delivering Global Firsts

Rönesans Holding has delivered landmark projects worldwide, including the Gotthard Base Tunnel, the world’s longest and deepest railway tunnel; Lakhta Center, Europe’s tallest building; the Netherlands’ longest land tunnel, the Gaasperdammertunnel; the immersed Maasdeltatunnel; the Turkmenistan GTG facility, the world’s largest gas-to-gasoline production plant; Arctic LNG, the world’s largest reinforced-concrete floating natural gas platform in the Arctic Ocean; the Yamal LNG production facilities, which opened a new global energy corridor; hospital projects across the Caribbean; the renovation of St. Maarten Airport; the Castries Port expansion project in Saint Lucia; water treatment facilities in Sri Lanka; and, in partnership with Japan-based Sojitz, the Başakşehir Çam and Sakura City Hospital, which has the highest number of seismic isolators in the world. Drawing on this international experience, advanced engineering expertise, and financial strength, Rönesans Holding continues to set new standards and deliver global firsts.

As one of the world’s largest construction companies, Rönesans’ ongoing projects include the Kokshetau Hospital in Kazakhstan, being delivered under Central Asia’s first Public-Private Partnership (PPP) healthcare model; Amsterdam’s tallest residential development, Eleven Square, undertaken with its Dutch subsidiary Ballast Nedam; and Cartesius Utrecht, set to become the country’s healthiest neighbourhood as part of the World Health Organisation Healthy Cities initiative. Rönesans is also continuing work on major strategic investments such as the Khor Al Zubair tunnel, regarded as one of the most important routes of the new Silk Road linking the Port of Al Faw to Europe, and the Ceyhan Polypropylene Production Facility and Terminal, which is expected to contribute USD 300 million annually to Türkiye’s current account balance once completed.
