Rönesans Holding and KODA – Where Did We Leave Off in Education in Villages?

The project 'Where Did We Leave Off in Education in Villages?', implemented through a Rönesans Holding and KODA cooperation, has made it to the finals at the Edie Awards under the ‘Partnership and Collaboration: Projects, Initiatives, and Solutions’ category.

Supported by Rönesans Holding, the project, led by the Rural Schools Transformation Network (KODA), was successfully completed in Adıyaman. Launched in June, this project aimed to support children living in villages and rural neighborhoods affected by the February 6 earthquakes academically and psychosocially while also providing family education to parents.

Teachers, parents, and volunteers worked together within the project's scope to improve children's education in Adıyaman. The activities carried out in the villages of Adıyaman, with the support of Rönesans Holding, combined with KODA's expertise in rural education, determined the scope and implementation of the project. Implemented in September with KODA along with volunteers, the project focused on children's social-emotional learning and post-disaster school preparedness, reaching approximately 500 children and their families.
