Gaziantep City Hospital, which was implemented in cooperation with Rönesans Sağlık Yatırım, Meridiam, Samsung C&T and İstanbul Portföy, opened its doors to provide health services.

The Gaziantep City Hospital Project

Gaziantep City Hospital brought to life through a collaboration between Rönesans Sağlık Yatırım, Meridiam, Samsung C&T, and Istanbul Asset Management, has opened its doors to provide exceptional healthcare services to the entire region.

Implemented by the Ministry of Health through the Public-Private Partnership model, Gaziantep City Hospital, with a capacity of 1875 beds, serves not only the city but also the entire region. Located in the Şahinbey district of Gaziantep on a 330,090 m² plot of land, the hospital was built on a construction area of 638,088 m². 

Hosting 45,000 visitors daily, Gaziantep City Hospital is accessible by tram and bus. The hospital comprises the Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Hospital, the High-Security Forensic Psychiatry Hospital, and the Main Hospital, which includes the Cardiovascular Surgery (CVS), the Oncology Hospital, the General Hospital, the General and Psychiatry Hospital, and the Women's and Children's Hospital sections.

The project's eco-friendly engineering approach and energy-saving solutions reflect Gaziantep City Hospital's prioritization regarding sustainability.

Erman Ilıcak, the President of Rönesans Holding, visited Gaziantep City Hospital with South Korean company Samsung C&T's President and CEO Oh Sechul as well as Regional President Kim Jungwook.

The Gaziantep City Hospital Project was taken over in 2022 by Rönesans Sağlık Yatırım in collaboration with Meridiam, Samsung C&T, and Istanbul Asset Management. It started operations in 2023, ahead of its planned completion time.
