Amsterdam Food Center Residential Development

Located at the heart of the city, Food Center Amsterdam is a place where fruits, vegetables and other foods are sold as capital stock.

Located at the heart of the city, Food Center Amsterdam is a place where fruits, vegetables and other foods are sold as capital stock. The center will be reconstructed by a consortium that involves Ballast Nedam. Established over an area of nearly 57 thousand square meters, the center will be managed and maintained by the consortium in the next 25 years.

While the food center will be moved to the northern side of the campus by the consortium, the vacated area will be used for a housing development project. Including 1400 residences, the project will offer cozy homes for families, students and retirees. When complete, the project will stimulate economic and social activities in the area.
