UK–Türkiye Chemicals and Advanced Manufacturing Investment Forum Held in London

The UK–Türkiye Chemicals and Advanced Manufacturing Investment Forum in London highlighted Türkiye’s investment potential and DAPEK’s strategic opportunities.

Investment and Finance Office of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye held the UK-Türkiye Chemicals and Advanced Manufacturing Investment Forum at the Turkish Ambassador’s Residence in London, bringing together senior stakeholders from industry, government, and the investment community.

The event opened with a welcome address by Investment and Finance Office Country Advisor Enes Güzel, followed by remarks from Türkiye’s Ambassador to the UK Osman Koray Ertaş, and a keynote speech by Chemical Business Association CEO Tim Doggett.

Following the opening remarks, Investment and Finance Office made a presentation on chemicals industry FDI trends in Türkiye.

The forum also featured a panel session moderated by Investment and Finance Office Country Advisor Ersoy Erkazancı. During the panel, representatives of international companies discussed commercial cooperation between the two countries, supply chain opportunities, and sustainable production.

Representatives from Rönesans Holding also attended the event. Strategic investment opportunities within the Eastern Mediterranean Industrial Zone and Port (DAPEK), developed under the leadership of the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Industry and Technology and operated by Rönesans Holding, were also presented. In particular, DAPEK’s distinctive advantages in Türkiye for medium- to high-technology, large-scale manufacturing investments—especially in petrochemicals and chemicals—were highlighted.
