Rönesans Holding has been honoured with five prestigious awards at the Project Finance Awards and Achievement Awards, organised by EMEA Finance, a leading international institution specialising in banking and finance performance evaluation.
Kokshetau Hospital: A First in Central Asia
The Kokshetau Hospital Project, the first hospital in Central Asia to be implemented under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model, has received awards in two categories:- Best Health Project Deal in the CEE Region
- Best PPP Project Deal in the CEE Region
Northern Marmara Motorway: An Innovative Transport Solution
The Nakkaş-Başakşehir section of the Northern Marmara Motorway Project was awarded Best Transport Infrastructure Project Deal in the CEE Region.The project will offer a new alternative route between Asia and Europe, improving access to critical locations such as Istanbul Airport, Başakşehir Çam and Sakura City Hospital, and industrial zones.
Growing with the Power of Wind
Rönesans Enerji, was honored with two awards for its wind energy projects!
Best Renewable Energy M&A Deal in the EMEA Region for the Sibel Wind Power Plant, with an installed capacity of 88 MW. With additional projects planned by the end of 2025, the total installed capacity is expected to reach 471 MW.
Best ECA Syndicated Loan for €75 million and $83 million financing, guaranteed by Euler Hermes.
This financing will enable the implementation of three wind power plants under the YEKA WPP-3 projects, with a total capacity of 189 MW. The 49 MW YEKA-3 Sivas Wind Power Plant is now fully operational, bringing Rönesans Enerji ’s total installed capacity to 308 MW — nearly doubling it within a year of its partnership with TotalEnergies.
Rönesans Enerji has also added the 88 MW Sibel Wind Power Plant in İzmir to its portfolio. With ongoing projects, aim is to reach a total installed capacity of 471 MW by the end of 2025.
Set to become operational in phases starting from the end of 2024, these projects aim to:
- Supply electricity to 340,000 households,
- Prevent approximately 345,000 tons of CO2 emissions annually.
