Renaissance Construction was ranked 28th in the “Top 250 International Contractors” list published by the international construction industry magazine ENR (Engineering News Record), which has been publishing the list based on the annual revenues contracting companies generate from their activities abroad since 1917. Renaissance Construction maintained its position as Europe’s 9th largest contracting company and continued its leadership among Turkish companies.

Positioned as one of Turkey’s fastest growing companies in the global arena, Renaissance closed 2020 with an international consolidated turnover of US$ 3.6 billion. Renaissance Construction, which operates in 28 countries across the globe, generates 70 % of its revenue from its projects abroad. Established in 1993 in St. Petersburg, Russia, Renaissance boasts an extensive operational footprint across the globe, from Central Asia to Europe and Middle East to Africa, with a particular focus on Turkey, Russia and the Netherlands, as a main contractor and investor engaged in construction, real estate, healthcare and energy. Renaissance develops heavy industrial plants, infrastructure projects, manufacturing plants, chemical and pharmaceutical production facilities, food and beverage processing plants, automotive and machinery factories, public buildings, healthcare complexes and power plants, as well as shopping centers, hotels, residences and mixed-use buildings.
The world’s first and best projects bear Renaissance’ signature
Boasting several groundbreaking projects, Renaissance continues to make new additions to its diverse global achievements such as the Yamal LNG Plant, which offers a new route for global energy transmission; the Gotthard Base Tunnel, the longest railway tunnel in the world; the Lakhta Center, the tallest skyscraper in Europe; Istanbul Başakşehir Çam and Sakura City Hospital, which is recognized as the largest seismically isolated building in the world; and Gaasperdammertunnel, the longest land tunnel in the Netherlands.
Awards from competitions where the best global projects are evaluated
The 462-meter-tall Lakhta Center built by Renaissance Construction in St. Petersburg was recognized as the “Best Project” in the” Facade Engineering Award” category at the CTBUH Awards 2021, which is the most competent platform evaluating tall buildings at international standards. It also won the “Best Tall Building in Europe”, “Construction of Tall Buildings” and “Best Tall Building 400 Meters and above” awards.
