The project is a part of the master plan for “Rotterdam Vooruit” between 2020 and 2040 in Rotterdam. The A24 Blankenburgverbinding Public Private Partnership Project worth €1 billion involves the design for the current and the new infrastructure which will improve accessibility of the Rotterdam area.
The project also includes the construction of 13 bridges, 8 tunnels, 10 highways and a 945-meter-long traffic tunnel. The total operation time for the project is 20 years.
