Industrial Construction
On October 23, 2015 Sumitomo Corporation signed an EPC Contract with “Turkmenenergo” State Power Corporation under Ministry of Energy of Turkmenistan for construction of a Gas Turbine Power Plant in Lebap Region. The capacity of the Power Plant is 3 * 144 MW.
Construction and installation works have been undertaken by Rönesans Endüstri Tesisleri İnşaat Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. The turbines (three units) and generators have been manufactured by Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems.
Rönesans Endüstri Tesisleri İnşaat Sanayi ve Ticaret Anonim Şirketi started construction of the Power Plant in 2018 in cooperation with Japanese Sumitomo Corporation. Plant was commissioned in September 2021.
