Ballast Nedam is constructing an intake and water treatment, connected to a newly laid out pipeline network in the area of Hemmathagama. Currently, the inhabitants of seven villages in the area still drink untreated water. With this project, we provide clean drinking water to the villages and this results in fewer illnesses and less pressure on the healthcare system.
We handle the project from design up to and including the connection to 17,000 houses, including the placement of water meters.
