The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) visits our Başakşehir Çam and Sakura City Hospital Project!
A delegation of 100 from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) visited our Başakşehir Çam and Sakura City Hospital Project, hailed as a benchmark for the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model in healthcare. This visit, part of the EBRD's Türkiye and Central Asia Infrastructure Team's annual meeting, allowed EBRD senior executives to thoroughly explore our polyclinics, advanced medical technology equipment, imaging centers, the Central Help Desk, the central laboratory, and the Türkiye Health Office.In 2022, the EBRD allocated 75 million Euros in long-term financing to Rönesans Sağlık Yatırım A.Ş., a subsidiary of Rönesans Holding, to support hospital PPP initiatives. At the signing ceremony attended by EBRD officials, İpek Ilıcak Kayaalp, Chair of the Board of Rönesans Holding, said: "We are strengthening our long-term cooperation with EBRD within the framework of our investments in the healthcare sector. EBRD's support for healthcare infrastructure is effective, and its trust in our company is invaluable."

Opened on May 21, 2020, Başakşehir Çam and Sakura City Hospital, built with 2,068 seismic isolators, is the world's largest seismically isolated building.
