April 23rd National Sovereignty and Children's Day was Joyfully Celebrated at Malatya Yaşam Kent
Since the February 6th earthquakes, Rönesans Holding and Rönesans Education Foundation has tirelessly continued its substantial efforts in the region. For the April 23rd National Sovereignty and Children's Day, Rönesans Holding organised special events for more than 1,500 children living in Malatya Yaşam Kent with the support of Rönesans Education Foundation (REV) Volunteers, drawing participation from all the residents of Malatya Yaşam Kent.On the first day of the two-day event, with contributions from Rönesans Holding and Rönesans Education Foundation Volunteers, a library was set up, and a movie screening took place. Home to 5,500 people, Malatya Yaşam Kent saw the addition of a new library through generous book donations by Rönesans Holding employees. Bookshelves and book donations were also made to Malatya Yaşam Kent's social areas, which offer crucial features such as psychosocial support, children and youth services.
The second day of the event included a face-painting booth, bag and toy-painting activities, inflatable playgrounds for kids, a ball pit, an obstacle course, and kite-flying.
Rönesans Holding Continues Its Work in the Earthquake Zone
Since the earthquake's first day, Rönesans Holding has continued to forge impactful project collaborations with expert national and international NGOs.Rönesans Holding, which has established a viable living space in Malatya and Adıyaman serving nearly 10,000 people with a particular focus on helping women and children, announced in early March after its first-year evaluation in the region that it will fully support the 'safe spaces' for women created by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in Malatya and Kahramanmaraş. These essential areas, named 'Women's Health Advisory Centres,' provide basic support in women's health, including pregnancy monitoring, pre and postnatal care, safe motherhood, hygiene, psychosocial support, as well as services to prevent and intervene in gender-based violence against women.
Rönesans Holding collaborates with institutions, non-governmental organisations, and volunteers in the region, including UNICEF, UNFPA, and KODA, with the same level of care and dedication demonstrated by the company on the very first day.
