12 April 2023
Fortune, the world's most consulted, quoted, and awarded business magazine, has published its list of 'Turkey's 50 Most Powerful Women' in their April issue. İpek Ilıcak Kayaalp, Chair of the Board of Directors of Rönesans Holding, has been included in this prestigious list featuring Turkey's most prominent women involved in business and science. The selected leaders are all well-known for their exemplary focus when it comes to sustainability in all business practices, strong belief in equal opportunities, and exceptional ability to read future trends and transformations
WOMEN ON THE ROAD TO SUCCESS

The female chairs, executives, and CEOs of the Turkish business world continue to ensure the successful adoption and implementation of corporate governance's basic yet crucial principles, such as effectiveness, consistency, transparency, objectivity, accountability, participation, and responsibility at all levels of management. In addition, they support the determination of the policy, vision, mission, core values, and strategy of the organizations they run and the adoption of these principles by their employees. Furthermore, they closely follow the performance of their companies and make wise decisions that increase their companies' success.

Fortune Turkey's '50 Most Powerful Women' List has been published for the 13th time this year. It once again draws attention to influential female leaders who have added sustainability to all their business practices, believe in equal opportunities, and have a talent for anticipating future trends and transformations. Female leaders who continue to support digitalization, innovation, and entrepreneurship for the sustainability of organizations, ecosystems, and talent feature heavily on this list.

This impressive list, published for the 13th consecutive year, uses several key criteria to determine the specific rankings of those featured, including the size and importance of the companies they run, the performance and direction of said organizations in the global economy, the progression of their individual careers, and the impact they have made in a social and cultural sense. The list's purpose is to highlight the scale and significance of the work of these exceptional leaders, the health and direction of their businesses, their impressive career advancements, and ultimately their social and cultural impact. Fortune MPW (Most Powerful Women) began as a simple list and has subsequently grown into one of the world's leading leadership communities.
