Container cities continue to be established
During the ongoing aftershocks, the first container city, "Malatya Yaşam Kent," was completed on a 6.5-acre land next to Malatya Erman Ilıcak Science High School to provide emergency shelter for earthquake victims. This container city provides temporary living space for 2,000 people and meets urgent needs with a dining hall that serves hot food for the entire region, mobile showers, and children's playrooms.Following Malatya Yaşam Kent, Rönesans Holding has started preparations for new container cities in Adıyaman and Malatya. These cities will consist of 2,000 containers in total and provide temporary living space for approximately 10,000 people.
In Malatya Erman Ilıcak Science High School, Yenice Coordination Center, Kahramanmaraş Piazza Shopping Mall Regional Coordination Center, Adana City Hospital Project, and Gaziantep City Hospital Project, 2,000 Rönesans volunteers are meeting the immediate humanitarian needs of earthquake victims. At the same time, steps are being taken to create long-term sustainable solutions.
