VakıfBank Headquarters Istanbul Financial Center
Ataşehir district in Istanbul is likely to become the capital of finance with the “International Finance Center” project sprawling over an area of 690 thousand square meters. With a 261 thousand square meter construction area, the project design is made up of two towers, one of which is 43 stories and 221 meters high, and the other 37 stories and 151 meters high.
The towers include first-rate commerce and office areas with an architectural design inspired by the Anatolian Seljuks and Ottomans, blending the past and the future. The high-rise towers are in the form of a 16-point star with an exterior that alludes to whirling dervishes, an element of Turkish culture. Just like any other Rönesans project, Vakıf GYO is expected to obtain Leed Gold certificate following the end of construction. The deadline for the project is 2020.
