Ballast Nedam, a Rönesans Holding company, and DEME and Macquarie are a part of the consortium that won the tender for A24 Blankenburg-Verbinding, a project to be launched in Rotterdam, a major city in the Netherlands.
The project is a part of the master plan for “Rotterdam Vooruit” between 2020 and 2040 in Rotterdam. The A24 Blankenburg-Verbinding Public Private Partnership Project worth €1 billion involves the design for the current and the new infrastructure which will facilitate access to the area.
The project also includes the construction of 13 bridges, 8 tunnels, 10 highways and a 945-meter-long water tunnel. The total operation time for the project is 20 years.
