Chairperson of the Board
İpek Ilıcak Kayaalp graduated from the Economics Department of the Middle East Technical University in 2000. She worked in the field of asset management and finance at various international companies until 2006. İpek Ilıcak Kayaalp has been the Executive Board member of Rönesans Holding and the Head of Treasury of Rönesans since 2006. As of 2014, she is the Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Rönesans Holding. İpek Ilıcak Kayaalp is a member of TÜSİAD (Turkish Industry & Business Association), Kançoder (Association for Children with Cancer) and Rönesans Education Foundation.
Ferit Seyfi Yağmuroğlu graduated from Ankara Gazi University Business Administration Department in 1976 and he began his career in the private sector in the same year. In 1977, Ferit Seyfi Yağmuroğlu started to work for the public sector, and then he shifted to the private sector in 1980 and worked as a senior executive at several companies until 2002. Ferit Seyfi Yağmuroğlu joined Rönesans Holding in 2005, he holds a Certified Public Accountant title and he acts as Deputy Chairman of the Board and Head of Financial and Legal Affairs Department at Rönesans Holding.
After his graduation from Istanbul Technical University Mechanical Engineering Department in 1995, Özgür Canbaş completed a MBA program at Koç University in 1997. He worked in the corporate banking and investment banking departments at Istanbul, London and Singapore offices of Deutsche Bank between the years 1998-2009. Canbaş took up his position at Rönesans in 2009 and he carries out his role as a Board Member at a couple of group companies.
Emre Baki graduated from Middle East Technical University Business Administration Department in 1997. He started his career in the same year and he held various positions in Independent Auditing Department of PricewaterhouseCoopers between the years of 1997 and 2006, including Management of Ankara Office. Emre Baki joined Rönesans Holding in 2006 and he currently works as a Board Member of Rönesans Holding.
Alparslan Eryiğit graduated from Boğaziçi University Economics Department in 1999 and he completed MBA program of Bilgi University in 2005. Eryiğit began his career at the library of Boğaziçi University in 1995, he worked as an Inspection Project Manager at Osmanlı Bankası during the years 1998 & 1999 and at Yapı Kredi Bankası from 2001 until 2008. Eryiğit resigned from Yapı Kredi and started to work at Rönesans Holding as the Deputy Director of Internal Audit Group in 2008. In 2009, Eryiğit was appointed as the Director of Internal Audit Group, and after assuming several roles as Deputy Head of Corporate Services and Head of Corporate Services at Rönesans Holding during the years 2010 & 2012, he continues to act as a Board Member of Rönesans Holding since 2013.
Independent Board Member
Mithat Rende was born in Antakya in 1953. He graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Political Sciences. After his graduation, he worked as a Commercial Attaché at Ministry of Commerce – General Secretariat of Foreign Trade and at Embassies in Damascus and Rome. In 1982, Rende was admitted to Ministry of Foreign Affairs and he was assigned in Rome, Brussels (NATO), Sofia, Vienna (OSCE) and London. Following his completion of a master program on Security and International Relations at Royal College of Defence Studies in London, he took up a position as the Head of Human Rights Department. Rende was appointed as Assistant General Manager of Energy, Environment and Hydraulic Works in 2005 and he chaired Trade and Transit Work Groups of Energy Charter Conference in Brussel between the years 2005-2008. In 2007, he was appointed as the Ambassador of Turkey in Qatar. Rende was assigned as the General Manager of Multilateral Economic Affairs between 2010 and 2013 and during the same period, he acted as the Climate Change Chief Negotiator, Member of Nuclear Energy Commission and Turkish Contact Point for UN Panel on Mavi Marmara. Ambassador Rende was appointed as the permanent delegate of OECD in 2013 and he was elected as the Chairman of OECD Executive Committee in 2013. After his retirement in 2016, Mithat Rende currently continues to work as an independent member of Rönesans Holding’s Board of Directors.
Kaan Arslan graduated from Middle East Technical University Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering and afterwards, he completed his MBA program at Bilkent University. He began his career at Interbank and he assumed different roles in this bank between the years 1990-1998. After working as the General Manager of Commercial Banking at Bayındır Bank from 1998 until 2001, he assumed several positions as Executive Vice President of Ziraat Bankası and Finansbank before he joined Rönesans Holding and he acts as the Member of the Executive Board and Member of the Board of Directors at Rönesans Holding since 2010.
